DemocracyNetAfter mainly remote events in the past pandemic period, 2022 has been finally marked by several in-person events, all highlights are made visible at the [» DemocracyNet's webpage].
DemocracyNet is a non-partisan and non-profit association of and for researchers in democracy studies, who approach democracy from various disciplines and perspectives.

The “Liquid Democracy” workshop took place with 35 participants and presentations by 12 international scholars. The edited volume “PhD confessions“ with 31 contributions, edited by Lea Heyne and Christian Ewert, was published. The following transfer events took place: Public roundtable on “Liquid Democracy”, Abstimm-Bar on the “Frontex Referendum”, Abstimm-Bar on the “AHV Reform Referendum”. The year 2022 was DemocracyNet's 11th year of activities.
